Art is an adventure in truth-telling and healing my soul. My creative practice includes watercolor painting, drawing, poetry, and hand lettering. I play in abstract, colorful, and bright worlds of paint and colored pencil. Sometimes, I weave my watercolor paintings together. I’ve participated in and finished the 100-day project twice, displayed artwork in the Astoria Visual Arts community exhibit for two years in a row.

Five different paintings woven into one ampersand. My goal was to go bigger with my thoughts. Not just hang onto the one idea or outcome. To connect to possibility by saying, “and.” Yes, and. Now, there are so many possibilities my original ampersand painting transformed into something new that’s lost in a sea of “ands.”
Sockey and Baby King. They are two abstract watercolor paintings. Each is woven together and then mounted on boards. The eyes are smashed metal pieces I found in the wild.
